Anaesthesia & Patient Monitoring

We take every reasonable safety measure to ensure the best possible care during anaesthesia and surgery. Animals are constantly monitored using specialized equipment the same as or comparable to that used in human hospitals. This equipment measures your pet’s heart rate, breathing rate, blood pressure, temperature and oxygen saturation.

Following the anaesthesia, your pet may be drowsy but this should wear off
in a number of hours. In some cases, it may take a day or so before their behaviour returns to normal.
