MICHAELA DUMONT

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Michaela Dumont is a patient coordinator and veterinary assistant here at Fisher Glen Animal Hospital. She moved to Ottawa in 2019 from her hometown of North Bay to pursue a career in animal care. Michaela has been passionately involved in volunteering with rescues over the years, particularly those that are based in brachycephalic breeds!

As a pug parent to Wyatt, she really has a soft spot for those flat-faced pups. Her and her partner also have an Iqaluit rescue terrier named Finnegan Dougal and a handsome cat named Fritz. Michaela is a big nerd for astrology and loves to guess everyone’s zodiac signs whenever she can (how very Capricorn of her)!
