Meet Dr. Betnaza

Dr. Tara Betnaza, DVM

Dr. Betnaza has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2005. She loves to travel, and has seen gorillas in Rwanda, climbed a live volcano in Guatemala and narrowly escaped a Tsunami in Thailand. One of her greatest rewards as a veterinarian was helping out after Hurricane Katrina, which inspired her to participate in other volunteer projects tending to animals in need.

She still works casually at the Ottawa Humane Society. These days, she spends most of her time with her husband and two girls. Their family also includes a black lab named Mary, a cat named Frankie, and Daisy the fish!
